Mauro Caporuscio is Associate Professor at Department of Computer Science at Linnaeus University (Växjö, Sweden). He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of L’Aquila, Italy (2006). He was Assistant Professor at the Politecnico di Milano (2010-2014), and Postdoctoral Researcher at INRIA Paris-Rocquencourt (2006–2009). He has published several papers in the most important international journals and conferences, and has been serving on the program committee of international conferences and workshops. His research interests mainly focus on the application of Software Engineering methodologies and techniques to the field of distributed systems, with particular emphasis to middleware supporting for Service Oriented Architecture and Pervasive Computing.
